    Job Description

    Interos, founded by Jennifer Bisceglie, is one of the most transformative technologically advanced platforms that powers the global economy supply chain.     THE OPPORTUNITY:

    Interos is looking for a passionate Product Owner to join the Interos Platform team and build out brand new products in AI-powered supply chain risk management. In this role, the Product Owner will help set the strategy, plan product expansion, and drive the execution of the business. Interos is building the world's first fully connected knowledge graph of commercial entities to understand global supply chain risk for our customers. The data to do this does not exist, so we are making it. The platform is first to market in a red-hot space. With the turmoil of a pandemic and great power competition convulsing supply chains, the market is crying out for a solution. Join us to solve novel big data problems that have global impact.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

    • Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
    • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements 
    • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
    • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
    • Define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities 
    • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
    • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
    • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
    • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
    • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
    • Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
    • Follow our competitors and the industry 
    • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2+ years of working experience as a Product Owner
    • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles 
    • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Creative thinker with a vision
    • Attention to details
    • Ability to prioritize using data, and a demonstrated understanding of how to drive focus and excellence within a strong, talented, opinionated team
    • A strong track record of achieving the balance between innovation, customer and quality focus

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or the equivalent)
    • A deep understanding of supply chain, risk management or vendor management for large companies
    • Experience with creating single pane of glass type BI applications where large amounts of data are synthesized to provide contextual information with minimal noise
