    Immediate hire for a Marketing Content Specialist who is a self-starter with the ability to take ownership of projects, to join the Communications Department of a global law firm. This person will create internal and external content that will communicate the firm’s value proposition and culture to clients and other audiences.

    We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail who will be involved in maintaining a standard of quality for creating error-free, targeted marketing materials.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Produce external-facing marketing materials to support client development, recruiting, diversity and inclusion and other external messaging including website, social media, intranet, marketing collateral
    • Collaborate with business development, administration and lawyers to create compelling content and update current content to ensure it is timely and accurate.
    • Create content that can be used for multiple purposes, externally and internally.
    • Providing training and instructional materials to staff on how to leverage the firm’s marketing and communications messaging, including via social media.
    • Assist the PR team in preparing awards submissions for the firm’s most prominent lawyers.
    • Provide general content support to the global business development team.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree is required ideally in a relevant discipline (communications, journalism, English, etc.).
    • Five or more years of professional services experience and/or a relevant background in writing, journalism, marketing or publishing.
    • Excellent business writing, editing and interviewing skills, including strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing error-free, targeted content.
    • Desire to take ownership of projects from development to execution.
    • Superior interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to interact with and provide exceptional client service
    • Ability to work independently and as a member of a project team, organize/prioritize work, handle sensitive matters and meet deadlines, including working well under pressure
    • Must be proficient in the use of MS-Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and willing to learn and use new technologies (g., a website content management system).
    • Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs.
