Corporate Communications Editor/Proofreader - Contract
We are recruiting for a contract Corporate Communications professional who will work with the Communications Manager and the Communications team of a global professional services company.We are looking for someone with strong editing and proofreading skills along with excellent project management skills and a strong attention to detail.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Website and Intranet Copy:
- Edit and proofread press releases, announcements etc. to ensure accuracy prior to them being published on both internal and external websites.
Social Media Copy:
- Assisted with writing social media posts.
- Proofread all social media posts prior to publication
Client Publications:
- Proofread and edit all client-related publications
- Project manage publications to ensure deadlines are met and projects are completed in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Journalism or Communications or Public Relations
- At least one year of relevant experience in a corporate setting
- Excellent business writing and editing skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Excellent attention to detail
