Job Title: Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Summary Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Should possess in-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems according to specifications and industry standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in heating and cooling systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific HVAC needs and provide effective solutions.
• Stay updated on advancements in HVAC technology and industry best practices.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency maintenance requests.
• Document all service and maintenance activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and service tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all service and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Experience in residential/commercial retrofit/replacement - small split heat pumps and gas furnaces, mini-splits, package units on the ground, roof top package units, water source heat pumps, VAV boxes, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, welding
• Proven experience in HVAC installation or related field service work
• Ability to weld and perform appliance repair
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
• Familiarity with plumbing and equipment repair is a plus
