Position Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Intervention Specialist to support students with diverse educational needs in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will create engaging learning experiences, implement individualized instructional plans, and work closely with educators and families to promote student growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, review, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Deliver individualized and small-group instruction based on students' academic and behavioral goals.

Partner with classroom teachers, related service providers, and parents to support student achievement.

Track student performance, document progress, and adjust instructional strategies as needed.

Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages academic, social, and emotional development.

Participate in IEP meetings, team collaboration, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

Active Ohio Intervention Specialist License required.

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related discipline; Master's degree is a plus.

Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs in a school setting.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.

Ability to develop effective instructional strategies and maintain accurate student records.
