    American Vascular Associates is seeking a full-time Interventional Radioligist for our center in Douglas, GA. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established outpatient Office-Based Lab (OBL) focused on delivering cutting-edge vascular and interventional procedures, with a strong focus on PAD treatments, embolizations, dialysis access, superficial and deep venous interventions.     Job Responsibilities

    Perform Vascular Procedures: Conduct advanced interventional procedures, including Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) treatments, ablations, embolizations, dialysis access, and venous interventions.

    Patient Care: Provide high-quality, patient-focused care in an outpatient Office-Based Lab (OBL) setting.

    Practice Building: Engage in practice development, including community outreach and patient education.

    Collaborate: Work closely with a network of vascular centers and a supportive corporate structure.

    Maintain Licensing and Certification: Ensure compliance with medical licensing and maintain board certification in Interventional Cardiology.

    Qualifications

    • MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology

    • Fellowship training in interventional cardiology required

    • Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain

    • Preferably 3+ years of interventional/vascular experience, but new graduates with strong fellowship experience will be considered

    • Willingness to engage in practice building and community outreach

    Skills

    Expertise in Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) treatments, ablations, embolizations, dialysis access, and venous interventions.

    Proficient in interventional surgery techniques with minimal diagnostic imaging.

    Strong patient-care focus with the ability to provide compassionate, efficient outpatient care.

    Excellent communication skills for patient education and community outreach.

    Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and build positive relationships within a network of vascular centers.

    Leadership potential and a proactive approach to practice growth and development.

    Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in a clinical setting.

    Adaptability in using advanced medical technology and staying updated on interventional procedures.

    Working Hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. No Call and No Weekends. We also have opportunities for 3- & 4-day schedules. We also have potential for ownership and leadership positions within the organization.
