Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with specialized knowledge in interventional radiology procedures. This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by conducting thorough assessments and educating them on the process.
- Assist physicians during procedures by managing equipment, monitoring patient vitals, and providing necessary support.
- Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed while observing for any adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, procedure details, and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards throughout all procedures.
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Previous experience in interventional radiology or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Familiarity with imaging technologies and interventional procedures is a plus.
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 18:30)
