We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Responsibilities
Perform X-ray, CT, PET scan, and nuclear medicine procedures as per physician orders.
Ensure the proper use of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging results, and any relevant medical history.
Collaborate with medical staff to interpret diagnostic images and provide necessary reports.
Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and best practices in diagnostic radiology.
Skills
Proficiency in operating various imaging equipment including X-ray, CT, PET scan, and nuclear medicine devices.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to radiology and patient care.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation purposes.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Ability to apply aseptic techniques in a hospital setting to ensure patient safety.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and reports.
