    Job Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiology Tech to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with specialized knowledge in interventional radiology procedures. This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by conducting thorough assessments and educating them on the process.
    • Assist physicians during procedures by managing equipment, monitoring patient vitals, and providing necessary support.
    • Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed while observing for any adverse reactions.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, procedure details, and post-procedure care.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards throughout all procedures.
    • Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns.

    Certifications: ARRT Advanced Cert*, ARRT R, BLS

    Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred

    Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred

    Requirements **
    **

    • Neuro and Stroke experience in IR
    • Previous experience in interventional radiology or related fields is highly desirable.
    • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
    • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
    • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
    • Familiarity with imaging technologies and interventional procedures is a plus.

    Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00)
