    Job Summary

    As a RF Electrical Engineer at IntraAction Corp., you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of high-performance RF amplifiers and acousto-optic systems. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing RF circuits, developing innovative solutions for acousto-optic modulation and deflection, and programming integrated circuits to meet the demanding requirements of our products.

    Responsibilities

    RF Amplifier Design: Design, simulate, and optimize RF amplifiers operating in various frequency ranges, ensuring high linearity, low noise, and exceptional power efficiency. Collaborate with the team to integrate amplifiers into acousto-optic systems.

    Acousto-Optic Modulator and Deflector Drivers: Design and develop drivers for acousto-optic modulators and deflectors, enabling precise and rapid modulation and deflection of optical signals. Ensure tight synchronization and control with external systems.

    Integrated Circuit Programming: Program and configure integrated circuits to implement specific functionalities within acousto-optic systems. Develop and test firmware to support various features and modes of operation.

    Prototype Development: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and test prototypes of new RF and acousto-optic systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability criteria.

    Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of designed RF circuits, acousto-optic drivers, and integrated circuits to verify performance and compliance with specifications.

    Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and application notes, to facilitate the transfer of knowledge within the company and to customers.

    Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest developments in the RF and acousto-optic fields, actively participate in research initiatives, and propose innovative ideas to enhance product performance and competitiveness.

    Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including optical and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless

    Evaluate current manufacturing standards and suggest improvements as needed

    Work closely with the engineering team, including training new employees, to maintain high standards and quality

    Manage any software updates or developments

    Set and achieve goals for the engineering team

    Work closely with other departments to develop new products and designs from the ground up.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s or Masters in Engineering or comparable degree

    Strong project management experience

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Strong attention to detail

    Strong organizational skills

    Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

    Requirements Proven experience in designing RF amplifiers. Experience in programming and configuring integrated circuits. RF Design Tools: Proficiency in using industry-standard RF design and simulation tools such as Altium for amplifier design and simulation. Programming Languages: Strong programming skills in languages like C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, or similar for IC programming and firmware development. Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical challenges, propose creative solutions, and implement them effectively. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely. Team Player: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
