In this role, you will provide medically related social services to your assigned caseload, and assist the residents in attaining or maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental and psycho-social well-being. You will provide services that meet professional standards of social work practice and are consistent with state and federal laws and regulations, while guiding the facility staff in matters of resident advocacy, protection and promotion of residents' rights.
Required Skills Required Experience
The qualified candidate will possess a Baccalaureate degree in Social Work or a relevant human services field such as Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Psychology. At least one year of supervised social work experience working directly with the elderly in a long-term care setting is required. Current Pennsylvania Social Work Licensure is highly preferred.
