About the Role:
Join the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry & Support Center Inc as an Inventory Control Clerk, where your organizational skills will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide food assistance to those in need. Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock levels.
Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing food donations.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Prepare and organize inventory for distribution to clients.
Collaborate with team members to optimize inventory processes.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Utilize inventory management software to streamline operations.
Provide excellent support and communication with volunteers.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs safely.
Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Positive attitude and a passion for serving the community.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
