    Position Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control & Logistics Specialist to support inventory management, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating material flow, supporting production needs, and ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing documentation
    • Unload, unpack, label, and organize incoming materials and inventory
    • Document received quantities and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged materials
    • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
    • Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment activities
    • Pull, stage, and kit materials for production and customer orders
    • Prepare, label, and package products for shipment
    • Build crates, pallets, and shipping containers as needed
    • Return unused materials to inventory and maintain proper stock locations
    • Operate a sit-down propane forklift to transport materials and finished goods
    • Coordinate material movement throughout the facility to support production schedules
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
    • Assist with shipping, receiving, logistics, and general warehouse operations

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Previous inventory control, logistics, warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
    • Forklift operation experience required
    • Mechanical aptitude preferred
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to accurately count, track, and maintain inventory records
    • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
    • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
