**Opportunity Overview
**
The Inventory Control and Cash Audit Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of POP MART's inventory and cash handling processes across all retail locations. This role provides critical analytical support by maintaining inventory records, conducting cash audits, investigating variances, and upholding internal control standards. The specialist will work closely with store teams and management to safeguard company assets, minimize loss, and support operational efficiency. **

What You Will Achieve
Inventory Management
- Prepare and distribute cycle count assignments to store teams as needed.
- Review and reconcile inventory results submitted by stores to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Partner with Store Managers to identify causes of shrink and develop corrective actions.
- Maintain organized documentation and uphold inventory control policies and procedures.
Cash Auditing & Review
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cash audits to validate register balances and deposit accuracy.
- Review cash handling processes to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Identify and report discrepancies using supporting documentation and CCTV review when necessary, focusing on shortages, overages, and irregular transactions.
- Recommend improvements to strengthen cash control practices.
- Train retail staff on proper cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting procedures.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare accurate and detailed reports on inventory levels, variances, audit findings, and risk areas.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and retail compliance standards.
- Support leadership in developing and implementing strategies to reduce loss and improve operational processes.
What You Will Need
- Proven experience in inventory control, retail operations, auditing, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and financial/audit best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage sensitive information, and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience supporting multi-location retail operations.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling workflows.
- Strong sense of integrity, accountability, and accuracy.
- Ability to train and mentor staff on inventory and cash control best practices.
Work Environment
- Corporate office role with regular communication and collaboration with retail store leaders.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak inventory periods or special audits.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position (e.g., seated or at a desk) for extended periods while operating a computer or other office equipment
- Must be able to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds
