We’re seeking an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to support daily production by managing materials, inventory, shipping, and warehouse operations in our SQF-certified food manufacturing facility. This hands-on role works closely with Production and Management to ensure smooth workflows, accurate inventory, and on-time customer orders. Position Summary
The Material Controller / Logistics team member works closely with Production and Management to ensure smooth daily operations by keeping materials flowing, inventory accurate, and production fully supported. This role is critical to making sure each shift has the right raw materials, packaging, and equipment to meet production goals while maintaining SQF Level II food safety standards and our internal Gold Standard for quality.
This position also supports shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory management, and warehouse organization to help deliver safe, high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with Production Manager/Supervisor to plan and prioritize daily warehouse and production tasks
Ensure production teams have all materials and equipment needed to meet shift goals
Monitor raw and packaging inventory against production schedules to maintain adequate stock levels
Perform shipping, receiving, customer order fulfillment, and documentation (packing lists, bills of lading, will call paperwork, etc.)
Maintain FIFO procedures for all materials
Complete month-end and year-end inventory counts
Create packing lists and communicate with customers via email regarding orders
Maintain accurate production planners for customer orders
Perform daily warehouse and production walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety
Keep production and warehouse areas organized and clutter-free
Safely load and unload trucks using pallet jack, forklift, or other equipment
Complete daily equipment maintenance checklists
Follow all written processes and SQF Level II food safety guidelines
Report spills, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions immediately
Communicate clearly and professionally with management regarding issues, ideas, and improvements
Maintain a safe, professional, and efficient work environment
Support continuous improvement efforts across warehouse and production operations
Requirements
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Strong computer skills (email, basic admin tasks, documentation)
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and time-management skills
Flexible and willing to adapt to changing production priorities
Available to work different shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs repeatedly
Ability to climb 5–15 ft vertical ladders
Comfortable working in a manufacturing / warehouse environment
Forklift experience
