    Our team is hiring an Inventory Management Specialist to support Warehouse Support Services for the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) in Williamsburg, VA

    About the Position

    The Inventory Management Specialist will support Expeditionary Medical Systems (EXMEDS) by managing and maintaining accurate inventory records for medical and civil engineering equipment supporting expeditionary medical programs. This role is critical to ensuring readiness, accountability, and compliance across all warehouse operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform inventory control, reconciliation, and asset tracking for warehouse operations
    • Receive, store, issue, and ship equipment and materials in accordance with established SOPs
    • Maintain accurate inventory records using authorized government logistics systems
    • Conduct physical inventories, cycle counts, and location surveys
    • Identify discrepancies and support corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy
    • Support readiness and inspection requirements for NMRLC warehouse operations
    • Adhere to DoD, Navy, and contract-specific policies and procedures

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of two years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or warehouse operations
    • Familiarity with government or DoD logistics environments preferred
    • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
    • Ability to work in a warehouse environment and lift up to 40 lbs as required
    • Valid U.S. Driver’s license and the ability to be certified to operate a 1.5-ton stake bed truck and4-6K forklifts
    • Experience with DB Management Systems – e.g. DMLSS, HIMS, TOA

    Security Requirements

    Valid Driver’s License; All NMRLC contractor employees must be U.S. citizens and maintain a favorable federal suitability determination (typically NACI with SF‑85/SF‑85P) sufficient to obtain and retain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) for installation, system, and facility access. Continued eligibility is required throughout contract performance, and loss of CAC or suitability status may result in removal from the contract.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting medical logistics or expeditionary equipment programs
    • Knowledge of government property accountability standards
    • Prior experience supporting Navy or DoD warehouse operations
