An Inventory Manager’s primary duty is to maintain inventory accuracy at all store locations. Other primary responsibilities include development, documentation, and communication of proper inventory control procedures, as well as coaching staff on said policy and procedures. Understanding and completing the items below will help ensure your success in this position. This position requires regular in-store attendance and hours of work, and days will vary. Weekend work is required. Inventory Managers are responsible for all areas covered below. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Check in all incoming deliveries, ensuring the quantity shipped on the packing slip matches the quantity physically received. • Receive incoming inventory into the POS system after it has been checked in, using packing slip documentation from the check-in procedure. • Ensure inventory security by making sure access to the stock room is restricted to authorized personnel only. • Maintain organization and appropriate storage of inventory in the main warehouse. • Research Inventory Discrepancies reported by staff and work with Store Managers and General Operations Manager to resolve inventory discrepancies. WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conduct semi-weekly Store Transfers to distribute inventory to satellite store locations, with consideration for Store Transfer Requests made by staff, observing proper Store Transfer Policies/Procedures. • Conduct regular Cycle Counts at all store locations. • Verify that all store transfers are being received and that inventory procedures are being followed by all staff. • Maintain organization and appropriate storage of inventory in satellite store locations. • Ensure that all incoming inventory is received properly at satellite store locations. • Research Inventory Discrepancy submissions reported by staff and work with Store Managers and General Operations Manager to resolve inventory discrepancies. MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinate Cycle Count execution at all stores and research variances. • Provide ongoing training and enforcement of Inventory Control Policies and Procedures. • Supervise the Request of RA’s and return warranty merchandise to appropriate vendors for credit/exchange according to Vendor Warranty Policies/Procedures. Refer to Getting Return Authorization from Vendors. YEARLY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinate full Physical Inventory counts for all store locations at least once per year. • Plan and execute store physical inventories with any change in management at a location. • Reconcile the physical inventory counts. THEFT PREVENTION: Theft prevention is everybody’s responsibility. • Be aware and mindful of your store! Someone in the company may be stealing. • Make sure that there is always a staff member with eyes on the front door and ears for the phones. • Report everything suspicious or out of the norm directly to General Management. Responsibilities: • Connect with our customer base and raise brand visibility by coordinating community events • Help build online marketing, brochures, email campaigns, etc. that highlight our services • Inform team members regularly about the status of projects and any setbacks or achievements • Answer phone calls and emails to act as a liaison between clients and staff members to improve customer retention and referral rates • Schedule appointments, including travel arrangements or other company engagements Qualifications: • Proficient in basic computer software and can quickly learn to use new programs • Customer service, bookkeeping, or administrative experience is preferred • Associate's degree preferred but not required to apply • History of being deadline-driven and extremely organized • Display excellent written, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills Compensation: $20 hourly
