Inventory Manager - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 100k/year - Carlisle, PA

Responsibilities:
Lead by example, resolve operational conflicts, and make decisive, data-driven decisions.
Reduce inventory risk by identifying and addressing shrinkage, dead stock, and missing product.
Use inventory data to support reorder points, lead time calculations, EOQ, inventory turnover, and days-on-hand metrics.
Apply strong attention to detail when managing high-volume inventory data.
Utilize Microsoft Office, WMS platforms, document control systems, and accurate data entry tools.
Interpret production schedules to align inventory availability with operational demand.
Coordinate product and packaging material inventory to support production schedules.
Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits, ensuring system accuracy.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies with customers, vendors, and production planning teams.
Coordinate product recoup operations and provide production line backfill as needed.
Oversee customer inventories across multiple facilities within an assigned region.
Ensure accuracy across physical counts, cycle counts, and system-generated inventory data.
Perform regular audits to protect financial accuracy and reduce adjustments.
Secure and tracked customer-designated hold inventory.
Maintain accurate inventory receipts and minimized system corrections through root-cause analysis.
Collect product samples at customer request.
Coordinate packaging material changes with production planning.
Resolved quality concerns collaboratively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Follow SOPs and customer-specific work instructions consistently.
Serve as a direct customer contact, maintaining professional and responsive communication.
Respond to customer requests within 1 hour, providing clear status updates and completion timelines.
Escalate customer issues immediately when service commitments could not be met.
Use inventory and sales data to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
Balance inventory availability with cost control objectives.
Qualifications:
5+ years of inventory control experience, including 3+ years in inventory management leadership.
Lead inventory operations with full schedule flexibility, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business demand.
Took initiative beyond assigned duties, supporting cross-functional operations and maintaining organized, audit-ready workspaces.
Delivered accurate, timely work under tight deadlines using “Only Handle It Once (OHIO)” execution standards.
Communicated inventory risks, discrepancies, and operational impacts clearly and factually to leadership.
Maintained a strong safety record by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions immediately.
Compensation:
Base salary in the 85k - 100k/year range plus bonus and benefits
