    Position Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Inventory Specialist to join our team in Blanchester, OH. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting material flow, and ensuring system integrity within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with technology, experienced with ERP systems, and capable of safely operating a narrow aisle forklift.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and system updates
    • Track, receive, store, and issue materials in accordance with company procedures
    • Utilize ERP systems (Mapex transitioning to SAP) for inventory transactions and reporting
    • Operate a narrow aisle forklift to move materials safely and efficiently
    • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
    • Support production and warehouse teams with material needs
    • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory
    • Follow all safety guidelines and company policies

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
    • Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Mapex and/or SAP preferred)
    • Comfortable using computers, scanners, and inventory software
    • Experience operating a narrow aisle forklift (certification preferred)
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
