Job Overview
The Cannabis Stocker is responsible for organizing, stocking, and maintaining inventory on the sales floor and in storage areas. This role ensures that cannabis products are properly labeled, compliant, and available for customers, while maintaining accurate back-stock levels and adhering to all regulatory requirements. The stocker works closely with the inventory and sales teams to support smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Restock shelves and display cases with cannabis products and accessories.
· Ensure all products are labeled accurately and visibly, following state and company compliance rules.
· Monitor product rotation (FIFO) to ensure freshness and compliance.
· Assist with receiving and unpacking product deliveries, verifying against manifests.
· Support inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of records.
· Maintain clean and organized stock rooms and display areas.
· Assist with product packaging, labeling, and tagging as needed.
· Report inventory discrepancies or compliance issues to the Inventory Manager.
· Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines for handling cannabis products.
· Work collaboratively with budtenders and management to ensure timely product restocks.
Qualifications:
· Must be at least 21 years of age or older
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 1+ year of experience in retail stocking, inventory is highly desired.
· Basic knowledge of cannabis products and compliance regulations is a plus.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.
· Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Stockers may be required to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work involves frequent lifting products and boxes up to 50lbs, long periods of standing, walking, and interaction with cannabis products under strict regulatory compliance conditions.
