    Location: Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN
    Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM
    Pay: Starting at $18/hour with benefits; eligible for raise to $20+/hour after ~6 months

    About the Role:

    Testudo is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Technician to support critical hospital operations at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that medical supplies are accurately stocked, rotated, and readily available to frontline care teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a high sense of urgency, and at least one year of experience working in a hospital setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Input daily item orders and conduct stock checks and replenishment

    • Perform quality control on inventory, checking for compromised or expired products

    • Receive inbound materials and stock them by size, type, or product code

    • Rotate and organize inventory on carts and in assigned storage areas

    • Manage and maintain par levels to ensure consistent supply availability

    • Move carts to and from loading docks; operate material handling equipment when needed

    • Fulfill occasional customer pickup requests and assist with customer service issues

    • Communicate with team leads or supervisors about process improvements

    • Perform housekeeping and onsite cleanup duties as needed

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1 year working in a hospital environment (required)

    • 6+ months of inventory, supply chain, or stockroom experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Basic math and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, inventory systems)

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Ability to lift, move, and organize materials in a fast-paced hospital environment

    • Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • $18/hour starting pay

    • Eligible for raise to $20+/hour after ~6 months based on performance
