POSITION OVERVIEW:

InvestCloud is looking for dynamic and accomplished individuals seeking to bring their knowledge and expertise in project management. This position is appropriate for self-starters with strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent command of project management approaches and a strong sense of ownership. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field and be highly capable of quickly mastering new key concepts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with strategic clients from project initiation to completion (full SDLC)

• Communication with all levels of management (both client and internal)

• Understand Technical and Business components of complex programs

• Develop WBS, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies for programs

• Facilitate requirements gathering, design, build, QA, UAT, and implementation

• Manage budget, create timely status reports, identity and mitigate risks, identity, resolve and escalate issues

• Deliver quality product within committed timelines

• Manage scope rigorously with formal change control 

• Leverage subject matter experts relentlessly to determine the optimal solution and approach

• Manage to the KPIs, and escalate quickly to maintain timelines 

• Use appropriate tools and processes to deliver consistently 

• Manage and motivate teams assigned to the program’s workstreams

• Mentor and coach junior team member

• Recommend and help implement consistent process improvements

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• Experienced Project Manager with 10+ years of proven success in managing projects – schedules, budgets, risk mitigation, issue resolution, resource management, and scope containment 

• Excellent communication, presentation, influence and negotiation skills

• Leadership and team building

• Conflict resolution

• Aptitude to learn new products, technologies, and approaches 

• Ability to manage client expectations and escalate when necessary 

• Ability to handle multiple program workstreams

• Experience working in a collaborative and matrixed environment – team player

• Experience leading software technology projects

• Understanding of process improvement, planning tools, and resource allocation 

• Flexibility, adaptability, desire to work in a fast paced environment

• Big picture thinking

PREFERRED:

• Experience in the financial services industry 

• Strong understanding of either accounting or financial principles
