Qualifications
About you:
To be an ideal candidate you have the following background, skills and mindset:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Knowledge of insurance industry is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in investment reporting or insurance investment operations.
- Basic understanding of insurance accounting and regulatory regimes preferred.
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail in asset reporting, portfolio monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills and a familiarity with investment data systems (e.g., Clearwater, BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg). Python and BQL a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Identifies that a problem exists and applies critical thinking skills to develop solutions.
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity to expand knowledge.
- Innovative mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to drive business value.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
