This newly created position is ideal for a detail-driven, analytical leader who excels at building processes, managing people, and ensuring operational accuracy in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.     Key Responsibilities

    • Own end-to-end investment account administration (openings, transfers, rollovers, distributions, exception handling)
    • Lead, coach, and develop a small investment operations team; conduct performance reviews and guide growth
    • Serve as the primary liaison with custodians, TPAs, and investment vendors
    • Lead onboarding and transitions of new and existing 401(k) plans
    • Partner closely with accounting, tax, and financial planning teams to deliver seamless client service
    • Systematize workflows, strengthen controls, and drive scalability and accuracy
    • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies
    • Make independent operational decisions; escalate only strategic items to leadership


    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of investment operations experience with demonstrated problem-solving ability
    • Prior team leadership/supervisory experience
    • Strong knowledge of account types, transfer mechanics, and relevant regulations
    • Experience serving business owners or self-employed professionals (preferred)
    • Advanced Excel and familiarity with modern financial software platforms
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Series 7 (or similar) a plus, not required
    • Hands-on leader who’s comfortable rolling up their sleeves to eliminate errors and improve systems
