At Spartan Invest, our property portfolio is bursting at the seams and the firm is ready to hire another strong Investment Consultant to join the team. This producer will be empowered to drive sales through proactive business development activities. Lead generation and prospecting are critical components to the success of this role and future growth of the company. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this Consultant will most often be out of the office surfacing referrals and meeting with various investors including individuals, groups, and 1031 exchanges. These activities will be supplemented with ongoing sales leads generated by the marketing department and inbound inquires. In addition to working directly with clients, the Consultant will collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure client needs are met throughout the lifecycle of the investment. This cross-functional collaboration is essential to delivering a seamless experience that encourages repeat business and long-term client relationships. We are seeking a sales development professional with strong empathy and exceptional presentation skills. This individual is goal-oriented, resilient in the face of rejection, and understands that building lasting client relationships requires persistence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and close new clients
Identify strategic associations for networking purposes, join key industry associations, and maintain healthy relationships to further the company’s reach within appropriate vertical markets
Guide prospective investor clients through the entire sales process—from initial outreach to closing
Respond promptly to inbound leads and conduct follow-up outreach to nurture prospects
Educate clients on Spartan Invest's turn-key real estate model and available investment opportunities
Maintain accurate client records and update interactions in CRM system
Collaborate with the internal sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals
Stay informed on inventory, sales processes, and support resources to ensure clients receive accurate and timely information
Relay client feedback and market trends to sales leadership
Assist with ongoing communication and support throughout the client’s investment lifecycle
Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners
Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance product and industry knowledge and sales skills
Ideal Candidate Profile
3+ years experience selling large ticket products or services in a KPI-driven role
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, with demonstrated success navigating market fluctuations
Skilled in prospecting, building client relationships, identifying client’s investment needs, overcoming objections, and closing deals
Real estate or investment services experience is a plus, but not required
Prefer experience with sales turn time of four to six months
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills, detail-orientation, and time management abilities
Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience considered.
