Job Description

The Design Intern will work with the Product and Sales department, and will support the product development process with both creative and technical tasks. An interest in application development, websites, publishing, and finance is highly desired. Knowledge of finance is not required.

We are seeking an intern who is both a creative talent and a natural systems thinker to assist with the setup of an object-oriented design framework, symbol components, styles library for our products and product roadmap.

Creative

• Strong aesthetics and visual design experience
• Brainstorming
• Pencil Sketching
• Wireframing
• Prototyping Interactions
• Visual design research to support product design concepting
• Selecting impactful images for use in design comps

Technical (Workflow & Systems)

• Sketch App
• InDesign
• Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)
• Spreadsheets
• Pattern Libraries
• Workflow management
• Object-oriented design
• Component libraries
• CSS (basic understanding of how it works is a bonus but not required)
• Responsive design
