Venture Capital | LP Relationships & Fundraising

Our client, a venture capital firm investing across early to late stages, is hiring an Investor Relations Associate to help manage and expand relationships with a highly sophisticated LP base.

This is a high-impact role on a lean team , working directly with top-tier institutional investors—including endowments, pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds. You'll play a key role in both LP relationship management and fundraising execution , with exposure across the full lifecycle of venture investing.

What You'll Own

Manage High-Value LP Relationships
Serve as a key point of contact for institutional investors—delivering portfolio updates, coordinating communications, and supporting ongoing engagement.

Drive Fundraising & New LP Development
Source and build relationships with new institutional investors, helping expand and strengthen the firm's LP network.

Execute Co-Investments & SPVs
Support the structuring and execution of large-scale co-investment opportunities and SPVs, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Partner with the Investment Team
Collaborate across seed to late-stage deals, gaining exposure to investment strategy, portfolio dynamics, and capital deployment.

Maintain Operational Excellence
Own CRM management and investor data integrity, ensuring high standards of organization, tracking, and follow-through.

What They're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or at a placement agent
• Background at a top-tier firm (venture capital, private equity, investment banking—bulge bracket or elite boutique—or consulting such as McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company)
• Experience working with institutional LPs (endowments, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds) preferred
• Strong financial modeling skills, particularly in co-investments and SPV structures
• Experience building and managing CRM systems
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Degree from a top-tier university
