MARKETING INTERN 

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, permanent, potential for progression

START DATE: Negotiable; preferably within 2 weeks

LOCATION: Charlotte, NC - In person position

EARNINGS: $20,000 base ($400 weekly) + bonuses + commissions

_We're new to Charlotte and already looking to grow our event marketing team so we can service more clients in more places! _

Here at Invincible, we believe that the most effective way to help our clients achieve their market saturation goals is through face-to-face communication. Digital marketing is great for building brand awareness, but the message can sometimes get lost in translation, so that's where we come in!

We are looking for a marketing intern to join our team and assist us with our branded marketing events across the city. All interns will gain hands on experience and learn a range of skills in: 

• Brand Awareness and customer acquisition 
• Marketing, sales and promotional skills 
• Event organisation and 
• General business skills

Hands on experience for our Marketing Intern will involve the following main duties:

• Collecting and coordinating marketing materials (brochures, banners, etc) for upcoming events 
• Expanding brand awareness and overall customer base 
• Setting up branded displays on behalf of well-known clients at different venues across the local areas
• Meeting and greeting existing and potential customers and engaging them in conversation
• Collecting market research data for our clients to understand their consumers better
• Answering customer questions, addressing customer concerns, and occasionally handling customer complaints
• Processing a small number of sales transactions for customers that express an interest in the product or service being discussed
• Researching our clients to gain a better understanding of how you can promote their brand and engage with their customer base

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants need to be:

• Over the age of 18 
• Authorised to work in the USA
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to retain & recall product information 
• Willing to work with customers face-to-face
• Professionally dressed with a positive attitude

PROGRESSION:

Marketing Interns that learn and grow within the team will have the opportunity to stay on with us and progress into a more long term permanent position.
