    Job Description

    STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT: You will combine your experience and our business requirements into a strategy for making Invinity’s supply chain a driver of value and an asset that provides competitive differentiation.

    OPERATIONAL EXECUTION: You will follow the straight line between operational excellence and customer satisfaction by ensuring that Invinity is able to supply product on time, on budget and in a manner that is safe, sustainable and to specification.

    GLOBAL NETWORKS: In a complex world beset by uncertainty, you’ll focus on building a resilient and robust network of suppliers, manufacturers and logistics providers.

    MAKE VS BUY DECISIONS: Lead the Make vs Buy decisions for the company utilizing your understanding of the overall business strategy, technology, economic factors and operating environment.

    COST OPTIMIZATION: Relentlessly drive out product cost by leveraging a competitive supplier landscape, seeking joint advantage with suppliers and partnering in the product development process to identify opportunities and remove inefficiencies.

    TEAM LEADERSHIP: Effectively lead the supply chain organization and develop capabilities across category management, supplier development and supplier quality whilst driving an overriding culture of safety, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability across the extended supply chain.

    AUTOMATION AND DATA: Implement technology that switches the supply chain from manual to automated processes, from gut-driven to data-driven decision making and helps the business have the insight to “learn from the future”.

    INTERNAL ADVOCACY: You will represent supply chain interests and opportunities to internal stakeholders and work to align with corporate goals and to support the strategies of other departments.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of VP level experience in leading Supply Chain Management in a global company.
    • A relevant post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
    • Proven experience in high complexity manufacturing of industrial products within an environment of technology commercialization.
    • Experience and understanding of the total supply chain (Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Delivery and Product Development)
    • Demonstrated experience in management and implementation and use of ERP systems.
    • Track record of successful change management and implementing continuous productivity and cost reduction programs. 
    • Proven ability to effectively build and manage a productive and high-functioning team.
    • Executive experience on a global stage with ability to nurture relationships, negotiate deals and resolve conflicts across multiple cultures and diverse personalities.
    • A people-centric approach but with the commercial acumen to focus on doing the right thing for the business and the customer.
    • Ability to establish a strong connection and credibility through the highest level of professionalism, ethics, integrity, mutual respect, and value-added approach.
    • A leader, motivator, and an excellent influencer with the ability to tackle complex challenges and create effective short and long-term solutions.
    • Recognizes and supports the organization's preferences and priorities while willing to be held accountable for delivering results.
    • Bright and articulate with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills and quick to adapt to different internal and external constituencies.
    • Team player with the independence of thought and opinion to provide candor and honesty when making critical business decisions.
    • Strong financial, analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
