Job Description

Under direct supervision, provides customer service such as cashing checks, receiving deposits, making withdrawals, receiving loan payments, making credit card advances and preparing change orders for customers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide customer services such as cashing checks, receiving deposits, making withdrawals, receiving loan payments, making credit card advances, preparing change orders for commercial customers, cashing municipal bond coupons, etc.
• Sell products such as money orders, official checks, traveler’s checks and savings bonds, as well as cross sell other products.
• Balance cash drawer and other receipt daily.
• Process various night-drop and mail transactions as needed.
• Wrap and bag coin, verifying currency, mix new currency and turn-in mutilated currency.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as filing, answering phones, maintaining supplies, etc.
• Maintain cash drawer limits within bank prescribed limits.
• Serves as back-up to New Accounts
