    Taylor University is seeking applications for Director of the Taylor Fund. This is a full-time, 12 month, exempt position located in Upland, Indiana.  Resumes will be accepted until the position is filled.      

     

    MISSION STATEMENT:    The mission of Taylor University is to develop servant leaders marked with a passion to minister Christ's redemptive love and truth to a world in need.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:   

    • Create and implement a strategic plan each fiscal year that details the Taylor Fund programs, goals, objectives, and timetable.
    • Oversee and write letters for the direct mail program.
    • Direct and oversee the development of creative projects utilizing new technologies.
    • Facilitate fall and spring phonathon and donor engagement efforts.
    • Recruit, hire, train, and manage the calling team and floor managers each semester.
    • Provide analytical reports for all aspects of the Taylor Fund.

     

     

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred

     

     

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to coordinate and facilitate multiple projects
    • Ability to see the larger Advancement picture although responsibilities are project-related
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and with the Banner data system (or one similar)

     

     

     

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:  

    • Experience in managing a calling program
    • Track record of developing relationships that have resulted in philanthropic gifts
    • Experience with social media for messaging and marketing initiatives

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field or equivalent construction experience
    • MS Office – Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook experience*
    • Project management and scheduling software experience (i.e. Primavera, MS Project, or other)*
    • Certifications for First Aid, CPR and OSHA 30-hour
    • Decision making, research and analytical problem solving skills*
    • Time management with the ability to organize, assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands, and to work independently*
    • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and interact effectively at all levels within the organization*
