    SCEE is currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for experienced Electrical Leading Hands to join our team on the Albermarle Kemerton Lithium Project based in the South West of WA

     

    The Albemarle Kemerton Plant is a greenfield world scale Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate production plant to be located at the Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area approximately 160 km south of Perth, Western Australia, and 17 km north-east of the existing port town of Bunbury.

     

    To be considered for this role you must;

    • Hold a Grade A WA Electrical licence
    • Hold a CPR / LVR Certificate (issued within last 12 months)
    • Hold an OHS Construction Induction Card
    • Have recent experience as an Electrical Leading Hand or Electrical Supervisor, directing a team of up to 10 Electricians and Electrical Trades Assistants
    • To be experienced with using Work Packs and the ability to report daily materials installed to Supervisor
    • Be living within a 100km radius of Australind – Southwest
    • Have recent construction site experience with a high focus on safety
    • Willingness to learn and driven to succeed
    • Hold a Working at Heights ticket – highly regarded
    • Hold a High Risk work licence – EWP– highly regarded
    • Hold a current Drivers licence
    • Be available to complete Pre-employment medical and DAS

    1. Has a thorough understanding of rail braking operation and design.
    2. Understands requirements analysis, allocation, and traceability.
    3. Understands engineering analysis-fluid dynamics, fundamental electrical, elemental software.
    4. Understands imperial and metric units of measure.
    5. Understands configuration management.
    6. Has the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
    7. Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
    8. Has working knowledge of NYAB Engineering systems and procedures.
    9. Understands FMECA, FTA, PHA, Sensitivity, and other safety analysis.
    10. Understands scheduling, budgeting, planning, and project management.
    11. Has strong working knowledge of vibration, mechanical stress, and thermal effects.
    12. Understands system architecture development.
    13. Understands Shainin tools/Six Sigma methods.
    14. Communication Skills - Comprises the ability to speak, present, write, listen and distribute information effectively and create an environment for open communication.
    15. Analytical Thinking - Refers to collecting, analyzing and structuring information using a wide perspective in order to identify key issues and patterns as well as to drawing conclusions.
    16. Teamwork - Means the ability to work with others and build a positive climate and trusting relationships within teams.
