Iowa Subway Development will have an opening at the start of the New Year for a full-time Restaurant Consultant.

JOB DESCRIPTION – FULL TIME SUBWAY RESTAURANT ADVISOR

As a Subway Restaurant Consultant you will assist franchise owners and restaurant managers with the development and implementation of business plans to help grow their business, including:

• Flawlessly executing the implementation of corporate policies and programs that will have direct impact on the profitability of the market.
• Achievement of operational excellence by coordinating quarterly quality and image control inspections of each restaurant in their assigned area, and implementing new ideas through coaching, training, and mentoring.
• Developing monthly communication materials to help facilitate superior communication with franchisees and restaurant managers.
• Implement and document monthly benchmark metrics on primary initiatives and providing follow-up communication to franchisees and restaurant manager.

RESTAURANT ADVISORS:

• Utilize laptop and wireless communication technology. Some travel by car to their assigned franchisee restaurants.
• Receive most major holidays, nights and weekends off.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• Two years of restaurant management or business experience (multi-unit strongly preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Strong P&L/Financial analysis and computer skills are a must!!! (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

JOB PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS INCLUDE:

• Excellent time management and self-motivational skills.

• Three months hands-on, in-restaurant training
• Three months shadowing an experienced Subway Business Consultant
• Assigned and required University of Subway courses
• Some overnight travel may be needed
