    MAINTENANCE PERSON

    In this role, you will provide services to the world’s largest telecommunications and cable providers. This role is responsible for all building maintenance, upgrades, buildouts, and continuous improvement of the facility. The responsibilities of this position include:

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform duties in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating / cooling, ventilation, roofing and security.
    • Maintenance of mechanical equipment (conveyors, production stations, etc…).
    • Inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair / maintenance.
    • Respond to emergency maintenance requests. Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution.
    • Assist with construction project management.
    • Develop Facilities PM Schedule for all equipment at the facility.  Maintain records and prepare reports (cost analysis, proposals, etc…).
    • Support CTDI’s sustainability initiatives
    • Work with all levels of management to define and prioritize workflow.

     

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • 5+ years of experience with building management and/or maintenance.
    • Working knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, appliances, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, drywall, boilers, as well as grounds maintenance
    • Experience working with outside vendors and contractors
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Commercial electrical experience preferred.
    • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Proven ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues / turn projects timely and efficiently

    • Experience with Synchro traffic simulation software.
    • Experience with AutoTURN.
    • Experience with SignCAD.
    • Experience with Synchro traffic simulation software.
    • Experience with other traffic analysis programs, such as HCS, Vissim, TransModeler, Sidra, Rodel.
    • Experience with Microstation and/or AutoCAD.
    • Experience with AutoTURN.
    • Experience with SignCAD.
    • Knowledge of the MUTCD, Highway Capacity Manual, Highway Safety Manual, and other traffic analysis/design guidelines.
    • Understand of basic principles of travel demand forecasting including 4-step models and activity based models.
    • Experience with TransCAD and PTV VISUM software platforms.
