    General Summary

    Responsible for developing and applying advanced techniques in the investigation and solution of advanced system requirements and problems.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

    Provide expertise in one or more of the following areas: architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow, network design/implementation, testing, and documentation while working closely with a highly technical team of developers, engineers and scientists, applying interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to plan, design, develop, brief and defend solutions and coordinate the work of multiple agile teams that are injecting new technology and adding advanced capabilities while supporting an on-going operational system.

    Apply an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.

    Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces, and perform various analysis to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field such as information systems, engineering, or other related field, or equivalent experience. 
    • Minimum of 10+ years related experience
    • Requires minimum of SECRET security clearance
    • Experience with agile development approaches and tools to include story mapping approaches to defining and decomposing Epics and User Stories
    • Experience with web-based solutions, databases, and graphical user interface (GUI) designs
    • Experience with service-oriented architecture software design

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience with enterprising software
    • Understanding of mission planning systems including Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS), Precision Guided Munitions Planning Software (PGMPS) and Weapon Planning Software (WPS)
    • Understanding of system functions and external interfaces of software suites
    • Working knowledge of web-based dynamic data using integrated 3D web-based globes and maps such as Cesium
    • Knowledge of DoD datalinks such TCP/IP networks, tactical data radios, Link16 and other military tactical networks.
    • Knowledge of command and control systems
