    The Communications Technology Intern will work closely with the team to enhance Faith's employee portal. This role will take an active role in supporting the design, development and implementation of Employee Portal solutions, as well as the content review and editing of files added to these sites. This individual will also have the opportunity to work on a broad range of assignments , expand your knowledge and expertise in internal communications, and gain hands-on experience and training while working in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, have very strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

     


     

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
    • EXPERIENCE: Currently enrolled at accredited higher education institution and pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to maintain Employee Portal content, ensuring timely and accurate information is available to web visitors.
    • Uses site templates to build out team sites for information sharing and collaboration.
    • Supports ongoing development and maintenance of Employee Portal and related O365 applications, including implementing new style changes/features, participating in user testing, and creating and updating custom InfoPath forms.
    • Serves as day-to-day contact for Employee Portal user questions and support.
    • Researches new technologies, processes, and procedures that advance employee communications concepts, channels and engagement tools.
    • Provides training on team site standards/best practices, as well as site maintenance and updates.
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned including, but not limited to, receptionist duties.
