MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS INTERN (PART-TIME)

The Ipsos North America Marketing & Communications Team seeks candidates for a paid internship in our Vancouver office. Undergraduate and graduate-level students as well as recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

The Marketing and Communications team is Ipsos central marketing team in North America, focused on continually elevating our company’s brand and profile. You’ll get a chance to work with a creative team of writers, designers, strategists and media specialists focused on raising Ipsos reach and brand reputation. Some key tasks will include: participation in team planning meetings; exposure to global planning regarding new software acquisition for CRM (Client Relationship Management) system; updating contact database; desk research to expand and enhance contact database; website maintenance, posting and analytics; and a contributing role in managing Ipsos social media accounts.

• Interest in and passion for the work of a Marketing and Communications team in the private sector
• Hard working with a keen eye for detail and obsessive need for accuracy
• Strong, practical knowledge of digital media and social media communications
• Knowledge and comfort working across Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Exposure to HTML, Drupal CMS, Google Analytics, Sharepoint, Hootsuite and/or graphic design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator
• Competency with contact databases and tools, or related contact management systems (such as Marketo)
• Collaborative orientation and work style
• An undergraduate degree (achieved or underway) in the liberal arts or in Marketing/Communications, Web Design and Management, Graphic Design, or relevant related fields
• Practical experience in market research methods, although not required, would be an asset
