    We are looking for a motivated Payment Posting Supervisor with an extensive knowledge of claims reimbursement for Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Comp, Commercial plans, ect. A top performer with an extensive knowledge of billing, collections, and reimbursement of claims processing.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Under the direction of the Collections CBO Manager, the Payment Posting Supervisor is responsible for the following: 

    • SUPERVISE DAILY TASK OF PAYMENT TEAM

    • Review staffing levels and staff schedules

    • Oversee the training of new employees and/or a new Center

    • PTO coverage

    • Cross training with Billing and Collection Departments

    • Communicate with Manager, BOC, and Admin

    • Assist staff with questions or concerns

    • Assist with monthly and quarterly credit balance reports

    • Process payments and credit balances for one assigned facility

    • Successfully works as a team member

    • Work with Manager to review facilities DSO and ensure each facility is within goal

    Required Skills

    EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    5+ Years in a Supervisor/Team Lead experience, with emphasis in healthcare revenue cycle of all types. 

    Medical terminology.

    Math Skills

    Ability to work independently.

    Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

    Skilled in time management and prioritization of work day.

    Good customer service skills, always demonstrate professionalism.

    Comfortable utilizing critical thinking skills.

    Typing 45-60 WPM.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

    Experience with electronic patient information systems, Advantx is a plus!
