MARKET RESEARCH DIRECTOR – MARKETING STRATEGY AND UNDERSTANDING (MSU)
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Market Research Director, you will play a key role in supporting the provision of strategic insight to our clients in the delivery of research services. In this role, you will work with clients to understand their business issues and needs in order to develop and design appropriate solutions while building and maintaining strong client relationships. You are conversant in quantitative research design, with experience managing key market research projects from start to finish. Our ideal candidate is an analytic thinker, with an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to deliver high-quality, actionable insights.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Project coordination and implementation: Manage multiple market research projects at once, within timeline and budgets, including working closely with colleagues in our Operations groups to oversee all operational components of projects including field and study management.
_ _Data design and analysis: Work with the director to craft research questionnaires and develop data analysis plans that help answer clients’ key business challenges. Use cross tabulation and other methods to sort and analyze data findings and results; delve into data tables to help deliver on ad-hoc client requests.
_ _Develop research narratives: Perform data analysis and verification, draw conclusions; prepare visually compelling reports and presentations; make recommendations from the data results based on the client’s requests and business issues.
Client relationship management: The Director is the main point of contact to external clients - Take the lead in working with clients, in consultation with the Vice President to develop and propose appropriate solutions based on the research approaches and Ipsos products that are best suited to meet their needs.
