    POSITION SUMMARY

    A Director is accountable and responsible for establishing and nurturing client relationships and managing the business of several clients or client divisions, team members at various levels, business development and revenue /profit goals. Additionally, a Director leads and mentors a team of junior researchers. A Director contributes to the revenue goal of Ipsos Healthcare as well as that of Ipsos as a whole by collaborating with other Ipsos divisions.

    We are seeking bright, motivated candidates for full-time Director position for our West Coast offices located in Los Angeles, San Francisco, California and Seattle Washington respectively. We are seeking candidates with outstanding strategic thinking, strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a culture of achievement. This is an opportunity to work in an organization with a unique position to provide seamless, integrated solutions with primary and secondary data. The Director participates actively in delivering strategic insights to our clients by leading and executing primary market research studies and in growing our business. He or she is accountable for developing client relationships, delivering quality projects, and contributing to the development of the Professional Services department.

    • Provide training, guidance and support to junior staff Develop strong client relationships to the point where s/he is sought out as a thought partner and is receiving RFPs from clients
    • Has a client-focused, consultative approach for project management
    • Someone able to suggest alternate approaches and provide strategic insights that meet client needs.
    • Sought out by clients as an analytical expert and, more importantly, as a strategic advisor.
    • Grasps key issues quickly, understands the "big picture", and links market research insights to larger business issues relevant to client needs.
    • Oncology experience
    • Biotechnology experience

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 7 to 10 years quantitative/qualitative market research experience

    • Marketing experience

    • Launch experience

    • Knowledge of payers in commercial and buy and bill

    • Ability to manage multiple projects

    • Ability to motivate staff

    • Ability to act as a client officer for key clients

    • Strong quantitative and qualitative research project management skills

    • Self-motivated, analytical individual with an attention-to-detail who strives in a dynamic, deadline driven environment

    • Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written communication) are necessary for effective development and maintenance of internal and external client relationships

    • Superior organizational, multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving abilities

    • Data visualization skills in PowerPoint is a plus

    • Basic knowledge of SPSS is a plus

    • Knowledge of research methodologies and statistics are required

    • Must be able to create questionnaires, sample designs & data tab plans

    • Must have some client management experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher 

    • For the Senior level: Travel within the US expected ~5-10% of the time (when travel resumes safe)
