    IPSOS HEALTHCARE, a leading market research agency, is looking for a driven, self-motivated Sr. Consultant to join our ADVISORY SERVICES team as we bring meaningful, data-driven engagements to our clients across the healthcare landscape.

    The Advisory services team was established to generate strategic insights that build upon the company’s core competencies in market research, culminating in a premier healthcare consultancy.

    The SR. CONSULTANT plays a key role in delivering our client engagements. Typical engagements include developing demand and sales forecasts for future and in line healthcare products, designing commercialization and go-to-market models, launch strategies, and executing analytical work streams to optimize the impact of commercial programs and tactics.

    You will join a unique team of problem solvers who come from backgrounds as diverse as scientific research, brand management, strategy consulting, medicine, and more. Together, the team leverages these diverse perspectives to solve some of the most complex and challenging strategic problems for our clients across the healthcare market.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The ideal candidate will bring a mix of both analytical and creative problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate must also have the right mix of the qualifications below:

    • BA/BS required; MBA preferred
    • Commercial skills and Launch experience
    • 6-8 years of professional life sciences/healthcare experience: preferably in branding/marketing, management consulting, brand management, or market research
    • Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects
    • Demonstrated leadership skills, including bringing clarity to ambiguous situations
    • Ability to work cross-functionally, with a solid understanding of market research
    • Ease and confidence with “thinking on your feet”
    • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
    • Confidence outlining proposals (with support from executive team) in response to client RFPs
    • Ability to develop and adjust project approaches & frameworks as fit for various projects
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to define business problems, develop secondary data analysis plans and identify appropriate data resources. Explain insights, findings and analysis limitations to partners.
    • Lead the development, production, and interpretation of data for standard reports and utilize analytics resources to produce the right content, number, and frequency of reports.
    • Work with clients in the assigned team(s) to develop service level agreements outlining forecasting and secondary data analytics requirements and deliverables.
    • Knowledge and experience utilizing various data sources used in forecasting and performance assessment including epidemiology, medical and pharmacy claims, longitudinal patient data and various other secondary data sources
    • Experience leveraging a variety of forecasting methodologies and best practices in support of forecast development
    • Strong analytical capability and critical thinking skills
    • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required. Proficiency in

    data management and statistical modeling packages (such as Python, SAS, and/or, R) or other similar data analysis tools preferred.

    • Experience with advanced spreadsheets, patient based forecast modeling tools, including dynamic patient models, as well as quantitative techniques including smoothing, regression, time series analysis, and simulation
    • Demonstrated analytical skills-understands the advantages and limits of different analytical approaches and studies and their findings
    • Experience in managing and analyzing pharmaceutical databases (Xponent, DDD, EMR claim data etc.)
    • High degree of independence and exceptional work ethic
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong interpersonal skills
