    DESCRIPTION:

    Ipsos Public Affairs conducts strategic research in partnership with clients from government, corporate, private/public, and not-for-profits sectors. We understand and manage issues, advance reputations, determine and identify shifts in attitude and opinions, enhance communications, and evaluate programs and policy.

     

    Ipsos is looking for a Healthcare Data Analyst I who will be responsible for data abstraction, quantitative analytics, and modeling projects in support of Federal Clients.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Responsible for querying, filtering, summarizing, and reporting information obtained from a variety of federal databases

    · Analyze healthcare data from conceptualization through presentation

    · Support internal and external reporting needs of the organization

    · Participate in discussions regarding project design, data collection, data analysis, methodology, and data interpretation

    · Plan and execute data analysis project in conjunction with the leadership team or other assigned staff

    · Ensure integrity of project data, including data extraction, processing, storage, manipulation, analysis, and reporting

    · Evaluate data accuracy, quality, applications, and functions

    · Analyze data with statistical methods, support interpretation of results, and provide written summaries/reports of data analysis

    · Use analytical software to retrieve, edit and tabulate data from various databases

    · Communicate regularly with project stakeholders

    · Develop technical documentation for reporting systems

    · Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements

    · Other duties as assigned

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Bachelor’s Degree in informatics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, social science, data science or related field

    · 1-2 years of professional experience in manipulating and analyzing various types of healthcare data using SAS, Python, R, C-based languages, SPSS, STATA, or SQL

    · 1-2 years of experience in manipulation/transformation of large healthcare datasets

    · MUST be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain or currently holding a DoD Public Trust clearance

    · Proof of vaccination required
