    Job Description

    Position: Sales Coordinator

    Location: Greater Houston Area

    Summary

    The position of Sales Coordinator is a key position within the organization responsible for supporting the sales team in all facets of the sales cycle. The role serves as a key liaison between the sales department and other departments and also entails communicating with outside vendors and customers.

    Job Responsibilities and Functions

    • Responsible for serving as a liaison between sales department and other departments to ensure a smooth sales and fulfillment process.
    • Responsible for performing administrative and clerical tasks on a daily basis including providing reports to the sales team, monitoring the sales funnel, and completing paperwork in support of the sales team.
    • Responsible for monitoring invoicing and billing to ensure that sales team data is accurately reflected to accounting department.
    • Responsible for leading client retention efforts and maintaining ongoing client communication and satisfaction.
    • Responsible for identifying areas of improvement and making suggestions for those improvements in regard to process, methodology, and personnel.

    Experience:

    • At least 2 years of experience in a sales support capacity.
    • Experience in sales support to commercial construction, light industrial, trucking, and/or waste management companies strongly preferred.

      Requirements:

    • Minimum: 2+ years of experience in sales support capacity.
    • Ability to communicate fluently in English (written and verbally).
    • Ability to perform job duties in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities and sometimes under stress.
    • Must possess the minimal experience listed above and the requirements outlined herein.

    Other Requirements:

    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening, which includes a drug test (position may be subject to ongoing drug testing as a term of continued employment)
    • Ability to legally work in the US

    Work Environment

    This position operates largely in an office environment.

    Physical Demands

    In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal. While at work, the employee may be expected to sit, walk, and stand. Individual might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl. Individual might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position.

    Position Type & Working Hours

    This is typically a full-time position. Normal business hours and schedule to be determined.

    Travel

    Typically not required for this position.
