The Iris SF delivery business is looking for a driver to join our team. We're a small, well-managed independent contractor covering FedEx Ground routes in the heart of San Francisco. Our routes are the coveted compact, high-stop-density work areas. We compensate on a base pay + per-stop bonuses, so you rack up stops with only small trips in-between. This means there's an opportunity to make much more than what competing delivery companies are offering. We're looking for pick up and delivery drivers with experience as well as drivers just starting out. Our FedEx terminal is in South San Francisco. Delivery trucks (automatic), training, and uniforms will be provided and you will deliver to one of the 3 areas we cover. Outside of the minimum qualifications below, we're looking for someone reliable who maintains good attendance, works hard, and has a willingness to accept and meet the challenges of the job. Full-time and Part-time positions are available. Qualifications: Must be 21 yrs. old or older Must have a current valid driver's license (Class C) Must be comfortable driving 16ft vehicle (paid training provided) Must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical Must be able to lift up to 75lbs unassisted and 150lbs with equipment Must have a clean DMV record Must have a legal status to work in the US Must be able to pass a criminal background check
