Job Summary – The main responsibility of the childcare team member of Iron Forged Fitness is to observe, monitor, and interact with all children in our childcare area ensuring everyone has a great experience in a safe environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Greets and introduces all parents and children into the Childcare area with a welcoming smile.

Follows all our company policies regarding the childcare check-in process for the children including all paperwork the parents must sign.

Keeps appropriate records per company policies with signing in children, behavior, and accidents daily to parents and office manager.

Engages and supports necessary disciplinary action for children who need behavior re-direction as per company policy.

Organizes physically, emotionally, and intellectually stimulating activities for children 3 months to 12 years of age while parents are using our facilities.

Maintains a clean, safe environment by following established cleaning and security tasks and procedures and being aware of surroundings at all times.

Keeping up with all cleanliness daily requirements per company policy and diligently keeping childcare facility organized in order to insure children’s health and safety.

Required Education, Certification, and Experience:

At least 18 years of age

Childcare experience required with knowledge of basic child care and feeding as well as understanding of infant and child development

Strong public relations and communications skills

The ability to work well with children and be patient with them

The ability to move and react quickly to a variety of circumstances

CPR/AED & First Aid certification (or must be obtained within 60 days of hire)

Must pass background criminal investigation check
