Irrational Labs is a behavioral design consultancy focused on increasing health, wealth and happiness.

Position responsibilities:

This is for the do-it-all operators out there.

This person will play two main roles within Irrational Lab: 1) Helping us operationalize currently manual processes and 2) being the go-to person for incoming sales and partnership opportunities. 

As the operational guru, they will dive into our knowledge management systems and help us design processes that make us more effective and efficient.  This includes shoring up our marketing funnel, improving our recruiting pipeline, and financial processes that make the company hum. As the front face of Irrational Labs, you will design and implement the strategy to reach industries that we haven't yet touched and refine our offering to create an aligned value proposition.  You will take the first call with our potential clients, assess their needs, and dream up ways to work together. 

In this role, you'll get exposure to the cutting edge in  behavioral science and learn how it gets applied across different industries. You'll work directly with CEO and co-founder Kristen Berman to help design systems and sales.  

Responsibilities 

• Serve as liaison between projects, employees and leadership to coordinate company initiatives
• Represent the company in sales calls. You are first responder to our sales pipeline, helping to identity leads and filter future partnerships.  
• Help the company land public speaking engagements that could further it's research and PR objectives. 
• Create a robust knowledge management system-  this includes streamlining our behavioral science materials for client workshops and internal trainings.  
• Assist with operational tasks to make the organization run more effectively, including finance, recruiting and marketing

Skills/experience required: 

• 4+ years in an operations or business development role
• Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
• Excellent communicator in written and verbal form
• Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives

This will start as an operational role, but could lead into a behavioral scientist over time if the skills fit.
