Service Tech: Job involves installing, spring start-ups, troubleshooting, repairing and winterizing irrigation systems of commercial and residential irrigation systems in the metro area. Trouble-shooting leaks and issues, repairs of vacuum breakers, heads, lines, valves, etc. install and maintain pump systems. We are a reputable company been in business for 33 years. Requirements include: At least 1 year of experience is required along with good knowledge of the current technologies out there with underground irrigation systems. Must have a valid driver's license Be Able to work Mon-Fri 8:00-4:00 PM with some Saturday/overtime expected Able to work 10+ hours a day on occasion Be organized with materials required for each job Ability to prioritize on site activities for maximum efficiency Ability to work with PVC, copper, and poly pipe. Know how to properly use a toner, locator, and multimeter. Can Train Knowledge of various controllers, troubleshooting, and programming. Can Train Be able to communicate with customers as needed Work in extreme weather conditions: Temperature swings, rain/snow, freezing weather. Installers Experience is preferred but not necessary, we can train the right person(s). Ideally we are looking for someone to eventually become our field foreman. This could be a good opportunity for the right person(s). If you have installation experience, you pretty much know the drill, we'll be installing and maintaining irrigation systems and low voltage lighting systems in residential and commercial settings. Installation practices, plumbing, pipe pulling with 410 ditch witch. We use All Irrigation products (Hunter Toro Rainbird Irritrol and etc.). For the inexperienced person the job will involve general installation of irrigation systems and landscape lighting. The work will involve digging, pulling pipe, and installing heads and components. You will be required to learn basic low voltage wiring and how to properly and safely operate construction equipment. You will also need to learn the basics of irrigation principles.
