Responsibilities: • Install new irrigation systems, including piping, valves, timers/controllers, and sprinkler heads • Diagnose and repair issues with existing systems (e.g., leaks, broken heads, wiring issues) • Perform spring startups and fall-winterization blowouts • Adjust and program irrigation controllers for optimal watering schedules • Conduct system inspections and audits to ensure efficient water usage • Communicate with clients regarding system performance, upgrades, or needed repairs • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time on site • Work independently or with a team, depending on project size • Follow company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Qualifications: • Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills • At least 2 years of maintenance experience • Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience in irrigation installation, maintenance, or repair • Basic understanding of landscaping and horticulture (a plus) • Ability to read and interpret irrigation blueprints or plans • Comfortable using trenchers, pipe pullers, multimeters, and other job-specific tools • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions • Physical ability to dig, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs Compensation: $20+ per hour
