Your Opportunity:

As an Irrigation Technician , you will play a crucial role in the initial installation of irrigation systems, directly addressing our clients' needs. You will work as part of a team to ensure efficient and high-quality installations, contributing directly to our continued success. This position offers the chance to grow within a dynamic and expanding business. You will report directly to the Irrigation Manager of a branch and/or region and will be based at our local branch office in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Install new irrigation systems for commercial properties, including layout, trenching, pipe installation, valve assembly, and sprinkler head placement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex irrigation installation challenges.
• Read and interpret irrigation plans and specifications accurately.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Communicate effectively with the Irrigation Manager and other team members.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and a variety of irrigation installation equipment safely and effectively.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician with at least 6 months of experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of irrigation system components, installation techniques, and best practices.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret irrigation plans and specifications.
• Strong understanding of water management principles and efficient irrigation practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
