    Irvine Public Schools Foundation, an education non-profit headquartered in Irvine, CA, currently has an immediate opening for a Development Administrative Assistant to join our team. Irvine Public Schools Foundation's mission is to enrich the educational experience of each child in every school. We achieve this by providing programs, raising funds, and uniting the community in support of educational excellence. This position reports to the Development Associate and is a full-time, non-exempt position.

    Under the supervision of the Development Associate, the Development Administrative Assistant assists in meeting or exceeding fundraising goals by providing assistance and administrative support for all aspects of IPSF's fundraising activities and efforts. Duties include but are not limited to: processing payments, creating donor acknowledgment letters, completing all required data entry to maintain donor record information in the database, assisting with the preparation and execution of special events, and providing general office support including answering phones, responding to emails, copying, faxing, filing, and mailing.

    Qualified candidates will have the demonstrated ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines, use critical thinking skills to problem-solve, must be extremely detail orientated and well organized. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office tools are required and essential for this position. Passion for the mission of IPSF is critical. A high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years in relevant office experience are required. At least 2 years of experience in nonprofit development and community outreach is highly desirable. Experience with Raiser’s Edge and/or Greater Giving is a plus.

    Typical hours would be Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with periodic attendance at evening and weekend events required. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a minimum pay rate starting at $18 per hour. Position also qualifies for Cafeteria Plan which IPSF contributes $500/month (additional $6,000 a year and tax free if used on medical or dependent care expenses).
